NEXUS Community Support Society, one of the largest non-profit organizations in BC’s Interior, is in search of new volunteer directors.

Candidates would ideally be located in Kamloops or Revelstoke, however, candidates from other regions served by NEXUS will also be considered.

As a governance board, meetings are virtual and held quarterly.

Ideally you bring experience serving on a not-for-profit board in addition to work experience as a financial professional, lawyer, social worker or other business, health care or governance experience.

Directors are expected to commit to an initial term of two (2) years, with the option to serve up to four (4) consecutive terms (eight years in total). Monthly board activities require a time commitment of about 6 hours, including quarterly board meetings and committee work. Are you willing to commit to this timeframe?
