- To work in a team and/or individual environment with the needs of the individuals supported by NEXUS as the primary focus.
- To develop and facilitate opportunities based on the needs and goals set by the individual and their support network.
- To facilitate community inclusion in a variety of settings in our community and surrounding area.
- To complete documentation on a regular basis that outlines individual’s success, needs and or further support that may be required.
- Maintaining documentation/records pertaining to expenditures made for programming needs.
- To participate in meetings, training opportunities and service planning as required.
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older;
- Must hold a valid class 5 (or better) drivers license – drivers abstract required;
- Related experience working with adults with diverse-abilities is considered an asset;
- Basic computer skills and physical ability to carry out the duties as required;
- First Aid (Level 1)
- Criminal record check (will be performed by NEXUS upon hire)
